Study Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify genetic and dietary factors that affect the risk for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
Recruiting: Caucasian women, ages 18-40 with no history of alcohol abuse
What participants will do: On the first visit participants will provide saliva samples. Selected participants will return to undergo an acute, and a 2-week oral fructose challenge for a total of three visits. Each visit, participants will provide blood, urine, and stool samples, as well as fill out a questionnaire.
Compensation:  Eligible participants will be compensated.
