Study Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify genetic and dietary factors that affect the risk for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
Recruiting: Caucasians ages 12-40 with no history of alcohol abuse
What Participants Will Do: On the first visit participants will provide a saliva sample. Selected participants will return to undergo an acute, and a 3-week oral fructose challenge for a total of three visits. Each visit, participants will provide blood, and urine, as well as fill out a questionnaire.
Compensation: Eligible participants will be compensated.
