Julian Aileru is a Research Analyst and PhD student in Dr. Sumner’s lab. He earned his BS in Biology and MS in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His research interests broadly focus on using untargeted metabolomics to characterize metabolic perturbations associated with disease. He has training and experience in bioinformatics, computational metabolomics, and workflow automation. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his wife and two sons, Miles and Luca.
