As a Kannapolis native, Maggie is excited to join the Nutrition Research Institute as a Dietetic Technician with the Clinical Research Core. Maggie earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Nutrition and Foods from Appalachian State University. Her studies fostered a strong interest in nutrition, health promotion, and research. It is especially meaningful to Maggie to return to her hometown and contribute to the Nutrition Research Institute’s mission of advancing nutrition science and precision health.
