Do you feel out of control around food?

Have you been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes?

Then we are inviting you to join our HONOR study!

  • Researchers at UNC-Chapel Hill are conducting a 6-month digital research study where participants will learn how to improve their eating behaviors and self-management of their Type 2 Diabetes.
  • Participants will be compensated for their time.

The HONOR Trial (IRB# 22-2237) is a medication-free research study being held by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This study is testing a digital intervention that may help you improve your type 2 diabetes management and eating behavior. Participants will be compensated for their time of six months.

You may be eligible if you:

  • Adults over 18
  • Have Type 2 Diabetes with an A1c of 7.5 or greater
  • Have a working smartphone
  • Report feeling out of control around food
  • Can attend group meetings via Zoom
