Have you been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes?

Then we are inviting you to join our HONOR study!

The HONOR Trial (IRB# 22-2237) is a medication-free research study being conducted by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The study is based in Kannapolis, NC, at our Nutrition Research Institute. This study is testing a digital intervention that may help improve type 2 diabetes management and eating behavior.

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are an African American adult
  • Have Type 2 Diabetes
  • Have an A1C ≥ 7.5
  • Report out-of-control eating
  • Have a working smartphone
  • Can attend group meetings via Zoom

Participants will be compensated for their time.
