Ashlyn Mazzocchi

Ashlyn graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Dietetics and Nutrition in May 2025. Ashlyn's coursework has exposed her to many different areas of nutrition, but she's especially drawn to precision nutrition and its potential to prevent disease and enhance overall health outcomes. Ashlyn is also passionate about expanding access to nutrient-dense foods and ensuring equitable nutrition education for all communities. She is eager to contribute to the Tate Lab, where she can spread her enthusiasm for nutrition and support the innovative research being done. Looking ahead, she plans to pursue a PhD in nutritional sciences, focusing on metabolism and precision nutrition, as well as complete an ACEND-accredited internship to become a registered dietitian.
